Postcards from Japan part 2

To naprawdę ciężki temat.

Coming to Hiroshima we didn't know what to expect at all. You can fell the city full of history in the air. But I was surprised how fast the city came back from the ashes. I thought about Warsaw, with this difference that Warsaw is still a huge construction ground, and Hiroshima is just so clean... Like a breezy morning after a huge storm.
But I didn't want to write about my experience in Hiroshima. It's such a heavy topic. I had so many thoughts in my head, about the history and how it can be differently told in different parts of the world. I thought about past and the future.
Anyways, I was that much more happy to be able to go to Miyajima for a while. It's a very small island just next to Hiroshima, most famous for the amazing, huge Buddhist temple in the water.
It was great to take a prom there and get reminded that Japan is an island :)
Amazing views, super relaxing day. I just wanted to spend there a bit more time and get a boat maybe.

super delicious and refreshing green tea ice creams! miss them here a lot ;/
